Tomato Soup

Ingredients for Tomato Soup:

 

  1. Tomato (chopped): 1 cup
  2. Onion (chopped): 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic: 1 clove
  4. Cornstarch: 1 tsp
  5. Herbs of your choice: 1/2 tsp
  6. Black pepper: 1/8 tsp
  7. Stevia: 1 drop
  8. Olive oil: 1 tsp
  9. Salt to taste

 

Instructions for Tomato Soup:

 

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan and add garlic and onion to it and saute for 3-4 minutes on a high flame.
  2. Now add tomato and salt and cook until tomato becomes mushy. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  3. Pour the tomato mixture in a blender and add about 1/2 cup of water to it. Blend to a smooth paste.
  4. Pour this mixture in a pot and bring it to a boil. Meanwhile stir cornstarch in 1/4 cup[ of water and pour it to the boiling mixture.
  5. Cook until it reaches the desired consistency. Remove from the flame, add stevia and mix well.
  6. Add herbs and pepper and cover the soup with a lid for 2 minutes and then serve.
