Yes, happiness is in our control

Feeling happy is directly linked to maintaining a healthy body, mind, soul, and conscience. Happiness is a mental condition, not a physical location, and consciousness is attained quickly and easily. Our consciousness gives us the power to define good and bad, and this comes after the regular development of the body and mind, which is achieved through eating a healthy, balanced diet and engaging in regular exercises, such as pranayama.

However, we often try to link contentment with things like monetary gain, technological advancement, social connections, and other external factors. But as we get older, we see that material possessions alone can't make us happy. Instead, we may experience feelings of grief, despair, agony, and rage as a result of these occurrences. Our core consists of our body, mind, soul, and consciousness, and if we strengthen these, material possessions will flow to us naturally, but we won't appreciate them as much as we do now.
