Shoulders: Front Raises

  1. Front Raises
  • Introduction:One of the most basic exercise to focus your front delts which will help you get those bolder shoulders.
  • Difficulty: Beginner
  • Equipment: Dumbbell
  • Steps involved:
  1. Stand upright and grab dumbbells in both your hands with dumbbells at your side.
  2. Extend your elbow fully raising the dumbbells till your eye level.
  3. Lower the weights in a controlled manner to the initial position. Repeat.
  • Do’s:
  1. Perform the reps in a slow tempo.
  2. Only use your shoulders for the movement.
  3. Maximize your mind muscle connection.
  • Don’ts:
  1. Do not swing your arms.
  2. Do not bend your back.
  3. Do not perform the exercise further if you feel pain in your joints as shoulders are very vulnerable to injury.
