Healthy Sprouts Pulao

Ingredients for Healthy sprouts pulao:

  1. Brown rice, basmati: 30 gms

  2. Alfalfa sprouts: ½ cup

  3. Moong bean sprouts: ½ cup

  4. Onion (small sized): ½ pc

  5. Bell pepper (small sized): 1 pc

  6. Chilly, dry: 1 pc

  7. Ginger garlic paste: ½ tsp

  8. Garam masala powder: 1 pinch

  9. Ghee: ½ tbsp

  10. Salt: as per requirement

Instructions for Healthy sprouts pulao:

  1. Clean and soak rice for half an hour. 

  2. Heat ghee in a cooker. Add dry chilly to it. 

  3. Once it splutters, add chopped onion to it. Stir it until it becomes pink. 

  4. Add chopped bell pepper, alfalfa sprouts and moong sprouts to it. Stir for a minute. 

  5. Now add ginger garlic paste and salt and mix well. Stir until raw aroma goes. 

  6. Now, add rice and stir. After 1-2 minutes add ½ cup water and garam masala powder and pressure cook for 1 whistle.

  7. Healthy sprouts pulao is ready to be served.
